The Toothbrush Truth

I went down the rabbit hole of looking for a natural toothbrush with no resolution. I had exposed that our everyday toothbrushes are made of plastic and 66 & 6 nylon bristles which are plastic as well. Which has been proven to be a common way we get microplastics into our bodies. Not to mention the devastation behind what these toothbrushes do to our environment.
I wanted a solution, and I began searching for a natural toothbrush but ran into many issues. The first issue being that many toothbrushes use a bamboo handle, but they use nylon bristles which are plastic. Then I found a plant-based bristle, but they are using castor beans which the castor plant is the most toxic plant in the world. Then I discovered the “PLA” plastic plant material but that does not solve the problem because it is still plastic. Then I discovered the bamboo bristle, and the bamboo bristle tends to mold and does not work as well as a bristle as it does a handle. Then I came across the boar bristle which to find out boar’s hair is twice as abrasive as nylon and bore sleep in their own feces. So, then I learned about the Miswak stick and enjoyed it very much but still wanted the toothbrush features.
So, then I decided to combine the durability and convenience of the bamboo handle with REAL Miswak bristles, and I created my Miswak Toothbrush. Plastic toothbrushes are not only TOXIC to the environment and a disgusting nuisance, they’re not that effective, they shed microplastics into our mouths that get absorbed into our actual blood. My toothbrush is 100% organic, it is soft and supple, it gently massages and polishes the teeth and gums, it fights bad breath dental caries, gingivitis, plaque and so much more. Brushing with an all natural organic toothbrush is such a pleasant experience, it should be had by all.
